I am basing my data on the number of friends people have on Facebook. The unit of observation will be people who I am friends will on Facebook. The variable will be number of friends each person has. I am predicting the center of data to be around 400, however I am not sure. I expect the data to be skewed towards higher values because some people have Facebook friends in the thousands.
I am planning on researching the statistic of how many sports students are playing this year. Although many students at BHS are 3 season athletes, I expect the average number of sports played will be 4, due to outside leagues.
I will be researching the number of apple products owned in each family's household (The total number of ipods, iphones, ipads, iMacs, iBooks and Apple software) Christine
I will be researching the number of hours people are on the internet for weekly.I will poll people in our school as well as friends on facebook.I expect to see vary few if any people below 10 hours of time on the internet a week.
